G4eps is proud to announce that it has been awarded the contract for the detailed redesign and engineering of a silico and ferromanganese crushing and screening plant.
The upgrade will increase the throughput of the plant’s current No.2 screening plant from 40tph to between 70tph and 100tph. Another main objective of the upgrade is to reduce the generation of fines in the process, along with a newly designed dust extraction system at all transfer points and including a dust filtration system.
The project has been split into 2 phases of which G4eps will carry out the detailed design of both phases 1 & 2:
- Phase 1 – Increase throughput capacity with the inclusion of a new scalping screen, upgraded primary crusher, 3 new conveyors and new product bunkers.
- Phase 2 – Inclusion of a new oversize product conveyor back to the secondary crusher.
The detail design and engineering will commence in Q4 2022 and completion is scheduled for Q2 2023.
