G4 Engineering and Project Services (Pty) Ltd (G4eps Pty Ltd) is proud to announce that we have been awarded a LSTK contract for the detail design, engineering, procurement, fabrication and supply of a crushing and screening plant for a silicon metal producer in Tiptonville, Lake County, Tennessee, USA.
The crushing and screening plant will be constructed downstream of two 40MW silicon metal furnaces and will contribute to meet the growing demand for products which are building blocks for sustainable energy transformation. These products include solar cells (for photo voltaic solar panels); semi -conductor components; aluminum used in lightweight aerospace and automotive parts; and next generation batteries and battery anodes.
The crushing plant will consist of a two-stage crushing and screening circuit, capable of producing a final product in 3 size fractions. A dust extraction system de-dusting all dust generating sources within the crushing plant will be integral to the facility and forms part of the scope of supply. The plant will further be supplied with rail loading and bulk-bag loading facilities.
The circuit will be trial assembled, and FAT tested in South Africa and shipped to the USA in the first quarter of 2024.
