G4eps was appointed as engineering and EPCM consultant for the design and implementation of a 60l/s water supply system from Grasvally Mine to the Mokopane Municipal Reservoirs.
The scope entailed a new 200kl reservoir which is supplied with water by two new 45l/s boreholes. The water is then pumped from the reservoir over a distance of 20km to the existing Mokopane reservoirs. G4eps scope included all civil, structural, mechanical, and piping designs. The project is currently in the procurement phase with implementation planned for 2023.
